Soaring on the Flower-Scented Breeze
A neighbour hired a plane and snapped this pretty aerial photo of our
little patch of the world. I thought I’d share it with you all. [I
posted some on-the-ground photos of this neighbourhood just a few days
ago. If you had any trouble viewing those, check the album out here.]Later today (Done! see below) I’ll post some fresh new pictures from my flourishing garden. I’m so happy about it this year.
I loved your randomly generated answers to my survey yesterday. That was fun!
Here is the promised bouquet of garden flowers, all taken this week and
mostly this very afternoon, just for the enjoyment of you, my Xanga
friends. They include some fragrant roses. I hope you like them! [For anyone who cannot view the gizmo below, check the album out at this address.]

Oh this is so cool! How weird to now know that my little corner of the world is so much greener than yours, after all the Netherlands is one of the smallest and most overpopulated countries in the world.
What a coincidence today. I also posted an arial image and am working on a flower photo blog as we speak. I look forward to seeing your flourishing garden.
Wow! That is something! We get so caught up in our little lives and seeing that picture puts us all together. How neat!
ryn: I just looked at the nighborhoods photos from a few entries back and on those it looks like you’re practically living in the country. I’m so confused! LOL
Wow! Great photo, its almost as if they were walking in the clouds.:)
A birds’ eye view! :sunny:
that’s cool! i’d like to see an arial photo of where i live — there’s state forest behind my house… i’d love to see your garden photos — i didn’t plant this year so i’m letting some thistles grow.
Nifty!
RYC: I’m hoping to get a camera for my birthday. I put a note on my blog for you.

Neat photo. Do you know about the website called Terraserver where you can get aerial photos of specific addresses?
Hi ya! Thanks! That’s a great photo!
Hope you have a happy day! :fun:
p.s. I’m stealing your survey…… :p
I think I see a little Siggy in there!!!
All of those photos are fabulous! I can almost smell the flowers….mmm, heaven! :sunny:
I’m getting the same message…I click on it, and all it says is “plug in”
Thank you for noticing.
RYC: I don’t know who unplugged it… My garage is the gathering place of every kid on my block. Could have been anyone. =( I guess you could get them all LOL. Nice pics by the way. TTFN
Definitely! Thanks for signing my guestbook!
I love that pic! It’s fantastic!

This is really interesting and fun. I love the garden. I love my garden and tend it lovingly all the time. Judi
That is a cool photo album and your flowers are so lovely!!!
Nice aerial photo.
Your flowers are beautiful! I have a brown thumb so no pretty flowers for me! :p Thanks for sharing them.
blessings,
Chris
Fabulous aerial shot. Although I have noticed that just about every neighborhood looks better from the air.
I love Picturetrail! Bookmarking it for future use… You are a wonderful photographer and gardener! I miss my gardens… just sold our house but I’ll be enjoying making my new one my own next year! :sunny:
Both picture deals are sweet! The aerial is cool but that flower book is downright amazing! I have to figure out how to do that. By the way, the blooms are gorgeous! And if you took those flower pictures you have a great eye too! Thanks for taking the time to put them up!
Your flowers looks beautiful and what a creative way to share your photos!
Nice flowers! :sunny:
I like aerial photography. I can stare at it for hours if I’m familiar with the ground. If I had more time, since you’re in Toronto, I could play the ‘find the Tim Horton’s game.’
I liked your comment to Goldenboy about ‘gastro-porn’ I actually did laugh out loud.
Oh wow that aerial shot is fanatstic…and your flowers are something else
….
such a cool arial! and flowers are very pretty!……..I just read your survey below…. funny…..I don’t know why, but I like those……..I guess it’s because you get to know people better.
RYC: I agree, I hate reading those fonts especially the overlap…….and the tiny weeny words….. and the ones that have so much flashing graphics, that it takes forever to comment for all the flash! (especially since I have dial up).
I think xanga featured should have a featured adults, and a seperate featured kids.
wow…beautiful flowers!
I love your flowers, they are so beautiful! And I read your comment, I’ve never been to the Eiffel tower, I’m pretty sheltered.
thats really super kewl!! have you every did an address search on local.google.com? if you choose satelite view, you see something like that airplane pic, but not as nice.
oops, i meant maps.google.com
:goodjob: So cool!
