  • One essay down…

… a bazillion tasks left to go!

Just finished my analysis of Patricia Rozema’s 1999 movie Mansfield Park — specifically her interpretation of the main character, Fanny Price.

I do recommend the film, but not if you are a stuffy purist who wants
novel adaptations to be “faithful” to their source texts… cuz Rozema
likes to get out there and take chances!

Off to the next item on my huge list. Wave!

  • I liked that movie more than I thought I would.

  • Well done on the essay, it helps if you enjoy the subject matter! :spinning:

  • Such an encouraging to-do list:  one down, a bazillion to go.  Good luck with that.

  • You’re forging ahead–keep up the great work!

  • Keep on going there, not much further!  The prize is just there – I’ll bet you can see it.

  • That list sounds rather formidable!  Hope you’ve crossed a lot of things off of it by now!

  • Keep on going your doing good.

  • A long time ago, you posted about V for Vendetta. I think you posted about the graphic novels, but I am not sure. Anyway, I avoided and avoided the movie–I still don’t know why, as I loved the Matrix–and finally rented it, and watched it three times one after another. I love it! I hope they find a way to do more–if there was a whole graphic novel series, perhaps they could–well, except that they blew him up!
