Oops!
What happened to that week?!
This is one of those times of year when time seems inadequate for
everything that has to be done. Soon I'll be moving back to the city
where I live when I am at school. Thank goodness this is the final year
of living away from my husband! But in the meantime, there's been soooooo much to do that I've neglected to write here.Well, I never wrote about our road-trip vacation, and now it has
receded into the middle distance in my mind. It was great, but there
weren't a huge number of photos, so I don't know that I'll document it
here the way that I did our camping trip in July. Not that it wasn't
hugely fun, the road trip; but somehow I didn't feel a need to run
about with my camera the way I did while we were camping. This week I turn 42 as well. Somehow, your idea of yourself never quite
catches up to your actual age, does it? How many of us middle-aged
types actually forget, at times, how old we are? Have you ever had to
sit and calculate your age based on your birthdate? I have! *laughter*I will celebrate this birthday with: dinner with friends, a trip to the
Canadian National Exhibition in downtown Toronto, and a party with my
parents and my aunt whose birthday is near mine.I promise to keep in touch. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday!! you have finally caught up with me!......for a few months! LOL!! I know....sometimes I have to actually figure it up! AND my mom does too, hey, she was there! YOu would think if anyone...she would know!
Haha! I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one who doesn't remember her own birthday.
I hope you have a fun birthday!
Flew by, didn't it? OY! And I could do without that kind of week.
HAPPY BIRFSDAY FOR TOMORROW. Sounds like a lovely day planned, my dear one. I hope it's absolutely perfect for you. And I still don't think you look that old!
Happy Birthday and Happy Schooling.
xoxoxo
Yep I forget how old I am all the time and certainly don't feel as old as the numbers make me feel I am. Weird isn't it? Happy birthday.
Considering I am not all that far away from you, I hardly think 42 is "middle aged". If anything, your still a pup. Enjoy. And do share pictures, I enjoy seeing them.
Must be really hard to be away from your husband for a whole school year. We often are called upon to make sacrifices in life though I guess. I am glad you had a good vacation. Happy Birthday, Judi
Happy birthday!
It does fly, doesn't it?
Absence must really make the heart grow fonder, with your husband! Happy early Birthday! :sunny: :heartbeat: :sunny:
I was Xanga wandering and thought it might be rude to leave footprints and not take a moment to say hello.
So hello.
Chipping sparrows have a unique way of hopping about, don't they? When I see one mingling about with the English Sparrows it always makes me chuckle.
Sounds like a great way to spend your special day! Happy schooling!
Happy Birthday!!! Good luck in school...enjoy!
Happy Birthday!!
Happy Birthday! I loved going to the CNE. Now, the walking would do me in, not to mention the crowds, the cost, and the heat! I think I'd be able to do well on my scooter, but, it only has a little tiny horn on it, and I'm afraid I'd get too impatient with people strolling that I'd end up yelling "EXCUSE ME!!!!!!" in a really rude way...
RYC: the MRI went well this morning. I had to be there bright and early at 7:30AM because I had an 8AM "table time". The tech asked me if I ever had an MRI before...oh, heavens, YES...I can't count how many I've had now! I did tell her that it wasn't necessary to tell me how long each section of the test was going to be...that the noise in the MRI was almost hypnotic to me, and I can almost fall asleep! I told her that telling me the next part was going to be 3 minutes just spoiled the "trance". So the test was done even quicker this morning, I got to relax "in the tube", and head to work to catch up on some phone calls a wee bit early. This is all in preparation for me to start a new controversial "black box warning" medication.
:sunny:Happy Birthday!:sunny:And many of them!:sunny:
Do keep in touch you will be missed. Judi
Hey, I know you are busy with everything (boo to moving away from your husband!), but if you could give me some advice, that would be so amazing. I'm looking for airfare/hotels for Rome in the October 2007 time frame. That's a little too far in advance to be looking for fares, but I'm still hoping for some advice on traveling to Europe from people who have done it. Anything you could offer would be fantastic. You can send me a message on AIM sometime - my computer is always on, and I will get it sometime.
PS It will be for my honeymoon. Even though I'm not engaged yet, we've been talking about WHEN to get married... That's weird, right?
