Scream!
Family BBQ today!
Two hours from now! *frantic rushing about!*
Aren't you glad you're not here?
I'll update you all later. I'm sure you're on the edge of your seats wondering how it'll all turn out.
P.S. Welcome to featured-content readers. Laugh, always happens when I'm too busy to enjoy you all!
Edit: My
parents showed up half an hour early -- DOH! I am one of those people
who is ready for a party 1.5 seconds before it technically begins.
Actually, sometimes about 5 minutes after! But my parents like to leave
so much drive time that it's just funny, and they are always surprised
when they get somewhere early. Wow! No accidents on the highway! Fancy
that! *laughter*My aunt and uncle were an hour late. That's normal too, and it gave me
a break between BBQ shift one and shift two. Problem with these parties
is that they are so short. Guests' return-trip drive time was longer
than the party. Oh well! It's only once a year, and my wonderful
husband cleaned up! (Well, 90% he says. But that's a lot!)Be around to read your pages sooooon!

I hope you are able to slow down once everyone gets there and enjoy the day!
Is is the BBQ or the family that makes one frantic?!

Have a great time!!!
Are you kidding?? I'd love to be there!!
Sounds like a good time was had by all, even if they had to come a ways to get there! Yay for hubby cleaning up 90% of the mess! Did you take any footage?
I'd love to be there, too! Coming from Kansas City, BBQ Capitol of the World, I know my "Q"! LOL Too well, I'm afraid!
Early arrivers drive me nuts! I never have a moment to spare when having people over. Ever heard of being fashionably late? Well, except maybe for a sit-down dinner.
Well, I'll bet you're glad it's over!

I don't think being ready for a party "1.5 seconds" before it begins is bad....It's just good time management!!! You sound so much like me in that respect. I can think of a million things that I would like to do about 30 minutes before the start of a party, then I dash around like mad trying to pull it together. Duh!
Oh man I wish I was there. Would gladly clean up the other 10% tomorrow for a burger today.
RYC~I just changed it again. My first picture disappeared!
Sounds like it was fun, in spite of the hectic beginning. And yay you on the hub who cleans up !!
LOL what are you doing blogging while you have so much to do! Have fun!
Hope you have fun!
I love BBQ's!
Ooops- Had fun!
I looked up the coke stuff on snoops. This article was written by a trusted nathopath and I would believe him before I would belief snoops net. Judi
